Did Mel Gibson really knock Grigorieva’s teeth out?

Rumors claiming that Mel Gibson punched Oksana Grigorieva in a fit of rage (knocking her teeth out as a result) have recently started circulating from sources close to Grigorieva.
On the other hand, sources from Gibson’s camp have repeatedly stated that he did not get violent during the ugly confrontation that occurred between the ex-lovers last January.
Griorieva’s friends argued that Gibson and his camp are just spinning the facts in a desperate attempt to protect his reputation.
Gibson’s side has claimed that Grigorieva shook the baby. In contrast, Grigorieva’s side explained that she was just trying to protect the baby during one of Gibson’s violent episodes. This was when Gibson supposedly punched Grigorieva in the face two times, breaking her teeth, and giving her a concussion.
Grigorieva and her lawyers recently went to the family law court in down Los Angeles and requested for an emergency hearing. She told the judge that Gibson was extremely violent with her. The judge issued a restraining order prohibiting Gibson from having any contact with Grigorieva.
Gibson and his lawyers went back to court the next day and got the order modified so Gibson can still see their daughter. They also got a restraining order against Grigorieva, but only to prohibit her from releasing certain information to the public.
Grigorieva narrated the ordeal in an interview with London’s Sunday Mail.
“He is not paying me a penny. Nothing,” Grigorieva told the paper. “There are so many lies being said about me. I was trying to keep things dignified and be respectful to the father of my daughter, but what he is doing is cruelty. I am having to live on credit cards and borrowed money. It is not a good situation,” she continued.
“We were together for three years. So much that is being put out there is wrong. He didn’t dump me, I left him. I rescued my children and myself. There is no restraining order against me, but my lawyers went to court and a judge granted a restraining order against him.”
Oksana’s legal team declined to comment on the case. However, they did say that the true facts will be brought out in a court of law and that Oksana will continue to abide by the ethical obligations and rules arising from a confidential paternity action. They will let the court decide the issue in this matter.
