Ted Koppel's 40-year Old Son Found Dead

The death of Ted Koppel's son, is currently under investigation. According to authorities the body was found in an upper Manhattan apartment. Andrew Koppel, 40, was pronounced dead at 1:30 am, Monday in an apartment in Washington Heights neighborhood.
According to the city medical examiner Ellen Borakove, an autopsy was done Monday but results, including toxicology and tissue testing, were still for further study. Additional tests should be made to determine the manner and cause of death and will take a few weeks to complete.
The New York Post reported, Koppel was seen drinking for hours with a man he met at the bar. He drank whiskey and had not eaten all day.
Ted Koppel is a former ABC News anchor in the show "Nightline." Andrew Koppel is one of his four children and was convicted while he was a student at Goergetown Law School in 1994 for striking a US Senate aide over an argument at a Capitol Hill ATM.
Belinda Caban, Andrew Koppel's friend, told him to sleep it off but later on found out Koppel has been sick and appeared not be breathing, then called 911.
