25th AIDS Walk in New York

Acute Immuno Deficiency Syndrome or AIDS has claimed countless lives and ruined many families worldwide. AIDS is one of the worst killers in the world and its devastating effects have wrecked havoc around the globe because a cure is unknown for case that is full blown. Although prevention is still a million times better than cure, educating the world about this disease and how to avoid it is still the best way to lessen the death toll every year.

And if you want to do your part, you can join AIDS Walk in New York City and be part of the biggest fundraiser to help victims and their families cope with the disease as well as spread valuable information on how to prevent the spread of this debilitating sickness.  The event is open to everyone and will cover 10 kilometers or 6.2 miles around the Big Apple.

The AIDS Walk New York has raised more than 105 million dollars for AIDS programs and educational tours since 1986 and it considered the biggest fundraiser to prevent and combat AIDS worldwide. Last year, a total of 45,000 participants joined the famous walk. They raised a record sum of over 5,600,000 dollars and organizers are hopeful and at the same time confident that they will attract more participants and raise more money this year.
