Stress can take its toll on our bodies as well as our mental faculties because of numerous deadlines and a slew of other tasks that needs to be finished during a hectic day. Good thing that television was invented to keep us entertained and to keep a semblance of peace and quiet in our lives as we chill and watch our favorite shows after another long day at work. But we do not really want to add the disheartening news to our lists of worries and regular soaps are just full of conflict and can be stressful to watch at the end of a tiring day. Good thing that Comedy Central has a lot of topnotch shows that are seriously hilarious and can break a smile on our face as they shatter our funny bone.
“The Office” is one of these comedy shows spearheaded by veteran comedian and Saturday Night Live alumnus Steve Carrel, star of funny flicks like “The 40-Year-Old Virgin,” “Evan Almighty” and “Get Smart.” The show, which was adapted from BBC from a program of the same name, depict the life of office workers of Duner Mifflin Paper Company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The funny stuff come and go as the quirky and lovable characters clash because of their different personalities.
And a new television brand name actress is joining their ranks as management decided to acquire the services of Amy Pietz for an undisclosed role. Fans and followers of the show believe that she will be a great addition to the already hilarious cast because of her great performances in previous comedy programs like “Caroline in the City,” “Aliens in America,” “Rodney” and “Muscle.” They also speculate that she will be the new love interest of Steve Carrel's character and will definitely spice things up because of her professional typing and ability to make fun of herself.
